Your details stay private

When you post a job, your phone number, email, full name and full address are kept private. Tradespeople first see a privacy-safe preview — only the trade, job type, rough area and an outward postcode (for example BS3). Your contact details are only shared with a tradesperson once they unlock your job through the platform.

Clear consent, every time

We ask for clear consent before sharing a privacy-safe version of your job with suitable local tradespeople, and we record exactly what you agreed to. Marketing messages are always separate and optional.

No fake trust signals

  • No fake reviews or ratings.
  • No invented contractor counts or fake “jobs completed” numbers.
  • No verification badges unless verification is genuinely complete.
  • No fake scarcity or pressure tactics.

Tradesperson verification

Tradespeople build a transparent profile and can submit documents such as insurance and trade credentials for review. Verification statuses are honest: unverified, pending review, documents supplied, verified, rejected or suspended. We only display a verified badge when it's true.

Disputes and refunds

If a tradesperson unlocks a genuinely bad lead — for example fake, duplicate or grossly inaccurate — they can raise a dispute through a clear process. See our refund policy and lead quality policy.

Reporting a problem

If something doesn't look right, contact us or use our complaints process. We take misuse of the platform seriously.
