Describe the current surface and target finish
Say whether the current area is concrete, tarmac, gravel, grass, paving or an old driveway that needs removing.
Mention the preferred finish, such as resin, block paving, tarmac, gravel or a repair.
Include size, drainage and access
Give rough dimensions, slope, drainage issues, manhole covers, kerbs, gates and whether machinery can reach the area.
Photos from the street and from the property help installers judge excavation, waste and materials.
